1.  A.P. Moller-Maersk – 4.1m TEU

The largest coordinated transportation company in the world, A.P. Moller-Maersk, is based in Denmark.


This transportation company has a 4.1 m TEU all-out restriction. As of December 2021, it operated an armada of 708 boats, comprising 307 own compartment vessels and 401 sanctioned holder vessels.

By 2021, the Danish firm also intends to expand its fleet by 11 401-meter-long compartment ships with a combined capacity of 19,630 TEU. In the Maersk armada, the new ships will be the largest holding vessels. The Maersk armada will also include seven Baltic feeder vessels and two 18,500 TEU Triple-E ships.

China Sea Transportation Organization (COSCO) Delivery Lines operates 507 holder vessels with a combined limit of over 3.1 million TEU. It is a fully owned subsidiary of China's state-owned delivery giant COSCO Transportation Holding.

With 356 ports throughout 105 countries, COSCO's fleet provides services to 401 domestic and international transportation routes. There are 235 corporate workplaces operated by the company, comprising 97 domestic and 138 international locations.

COSCO Transportation Holding owns 59 terminals worldwide, 51 of which are compartment terminals. Its holding terminals have an annual throughput of over 126.8 million TEU, making it the leading port administrator in the world.

 

4. CMA CGM Group – 2.7m TEU


With a cap of 2.7 million TEU, CMA CGM Gathering operates a fleet of 502 boats.


CMA CGM Gathering, a French compartment transportation company, operates an armada of 502 holding boats with a total out limit of 2.7 million TEU.

The company created the CMA CGM JACQUES SAADE, a 23,000 TEU compartment transport named for its founder, Jacques Saadé, in September 2020. This vessel is the first of nine that the group has requested. The largest holder transport powered by LNG in the world is JACQUES SAADE.

With 420 commercial ports and 110,000 employees throughout 160 countries, CMA CGM Gathering ensures access to more than 80% of ports worldwide.

5. Hapag-Lloyd – 1.7m TEU

Hapag-Lloyd operates 392 retail locations throughout 129 countries.


Hapag-Lloyd, a German holder delivering line, operates an armada of 248 ships with a combined capacity of about 1.7 million TEU. The organization's share of the global holder transport armada's all-out limit is 7%.

In 2019, Hapag-Lloyd has asked for 77 holding ships with a total transport limit of about 0.8 million TEU. In fact, the new ships will wish to transport a variety of goods, such as dangerous and larger-than-normal goods.

Based in Hamburg, the shipping company employs more than 13,000 staff members and operates 392 sales offices across 129 countries.

 6. Ocean Network Express (ONE) – 1.5m TEU

With a fleet of 224 ships, ONE is the sixth-largest holder transporter in the world.

Sea Organization Express (ONE) is the sixth largest holder transporter in the world, operating an armada of 224 vessels with a combined limit of 1.5 million TEU.

In July 2017, ONE was established using the liner administration blends of Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK), Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (K-Line), and Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL).

Based in Singapore, the firm employs 8,000 people in total and provides more than 130 services weekly, including 120 countries.

 7. Evergreen Line – 1.2m TEU

In 2019, Evergreen was able to transport 148 ships with 1.06 million TEU.


Evergreen Marine Corp. (Taiwan), Italia Marittima, Evergreen Marine (UK), Evergreen Marine (Hong Kong), and Evergreen Marine (Singapore) are among the compartment delivery companies that make up Evergreen Line.

With a combined limit of 1.2 million TEU, the groups operate 333 boats. In order to reduce fuel consumption and emissions of substances that affect the ozone layer, Evergreen has built and contracted 20 12,000 TEU F-type vessels. In 2019, it asked for four 1,800 TEU and 10 23,000 TEU holder boats.

Serving more than 315 locations across Asia, America, Europe, the Center East, Australia, and Africa, Evergreen Line employs more than 6,700 people.

 

8. Orient Overseas Container Line – 733,580 TEU

By the end of 2019, the OOCL armada's average unit size was 8,915 TEU.


A coordinated transportation company with its headquarters in Hong Kong, OOCL have some knowledge in chilled freight. As of December 2019, the 104 vessels that make up the OOCL fleet have a combined capacity of 733,520 TEU.

As of December 2019, the average age of the OOCL armada's vessels was 9.77 years, and its average size was 8,915 TEU.

In 2019, the group hadn't set up any new ships. However, in Walk 2020, it requested five 23,000 TEU compartment ships, which are expected to be delivered by 2023.

With operations throughout Asia, Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Australasia, OOCL is a supplier of fully coordinated strategies and containerized transportation administrations.

Gee has 110 compartment ships in its armada, with a combined capacity of 728,416 TEU. It is the best public holder transporter in Korea. Three holder terminals are owned by the organization.

The company is hiring a state-of-the-art fleet of 12 24,000 TEU and eight 16,000 TEU compartment ships with the newest, most innovative boat configurations. The 24,000 TEU ships are the largest compartment ships in the world and will be transported between April and September 2020. In 2021, the 16,000 TEU ships will go into service.

With more than 60 ocean courses and 100 ports, Gee is a global transportation and coordinated operations company based in Seoul, South Korea. In the transoceanic shipping channel, it is one of the five primary transporters in operation.

10. Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation (YangMing) – 616,000 TEU

Yang Ming works an armada of 95 vessels.

Yang Ming Marine Vehicle, a Taiwanese holding and delivery company, operates a fleet of 95 ships with a combined capacity of 616,000 TEU.

In 2020, the organization expanded its armada by adding 10 2,800 TEU recently constructed vessels that were self-claimed and 14 11,000 TEU sanctioned vessels. Long-term, the organization's seriousness will be improved by the new armada's improved motor proficiency.
